The SaniSpan conveyor features an open frame design. The frame is 100 percent welded, with no seams, and coated with a wear resistant finish. Traditional wearstrips are eliminated. Optional spray bars can be added to wash the conveyor chain. The SaniSpan conveyor is equipped with bearings that are double sealed and grease packed.

SEW Eurodrive gearmotors with the Food IOP (Industry Option Package) are standard equipment on all SaniSpan conveyors. Designed to handle the particularly harsh environments and chemical washdown requirements of the food industry, this gearmotor package incorporates stainless steel components (output shaft, oil level and drain plug, nameplate) and other specialized features, including a fully encapsulated inverter-duty stator and fully encapsulated conduit box.
